Designed for experienced electricians, the 2011 Power Finder Circuit Seeker identifies and traces either live or unenergized circuits. It also locates faults or opens in a circuit, identifies specific breakers and traces circuits shorted to ground. The Circuits Seeker consists of two primary compenents: a Receiver and a Transmitter. The transmitter is connected to the circuit being traced or identified and will contact line voltage if circuit is energized. The transmitter is designed to plug into a stanard 120V AC outlet and may be used with circuits up to 600V AC, by using the plug adapters and receptable blades included in this kit.
* Traces concealed wiring, locates junction boxes, and finds breakers for live or dead circuits-no need for power interruption.
* Finds breaks in wires and shorts to ground.
* Incorporates auto gain circuitry for enhanced accuracy.
* Locates and identifies blown fuses.
* Supports transmitter-to-receiver distances up to 4 miles (6.5 km) for closed circuit tracing.
* Accessories included: Adapter lead, (2) 9V batteries, AC blades, instruction video, extension leads, carrying case, earphone/tube.
