Product Information:
The Metcal MX-500P-11 system is flexible, fast and powerful. The soldering hand piece allows you to solder and rework SMT components with the appropriate tip cartridge. The short tip-to-grip distance, characteristic of the Metcal hand piece, improves process precision, especially for fine-pitch applications. Features an automatic time-out for when the tip cartridge has not been used in the last 30 minutes. This will maximize the life of your tip cartridge. Tip cartridges sold separately. Soldering hand piece accepts all Metcal soldering and SMT rework tip cartridges.
Upon power up we used a known good hand piece in both ports worked. It got very hot and we melted solder with no problems. No further testing was done. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.
